What is a Sun Tunnel?
The VELUX Sun Tunnel (also known as a tubular skylight) is an energy-efficient system designed to bring natural light into interior spaces where traditional windows or traditional skylights aren't practical. They come in 10" and 14" circular diameters and are often a more budget-friendly option as well.
HOW IT WORKS:
Capture: a specialized dome or flat lens on your roof efficiently captures sunlight
Channel: a highly-reflective tube funnels this light through your attic space
Diffuse: a ceiling-mounted diffuser gently spreads the natural light evenly into the room below
